I’m Makeba, the proud founder of ORBIT Marketing. Since launching in October 2025, ORBIT has become more than just a business it’s a reflection of my passion for creativity, strategy and helping businesses grow. I genuinely love what I do, and that passion is reflected in the work I create and the relationships I build with every client.
About Me
After working as an Environmental Auditor for one of the UK’s leading renewable energy companies, while also developing & supporting their internal newsletter, I reached a point where I knew I wanted to build something of my own.
Like many self employed people, I wanted to invest my time, energy and money into something I genuinely believed in — rather than a corporate giant.
Creativity, art and culture have always been a huge part of who I am, so I took the leap and launched ORBIT.
My background in Business & Marketing, followed by postgraduate study in Sustainability, shaped how I see business. I believe it’s the local businesses, entrepreneurs and people building something from the ground up who truly keep our communities moving.
ORBIT was created to champion those people — helping smaller businesses be seen, heard and ultimately chosen online.
